About Us
Nido Poetry Collective is a collaborative created for women of color poets to:
read and reflect on poetry written by women of color
participate in writing workshops and generate new poetry
build community and center space with our identities as women of color
“Nido” means “nest” in Spanish. This collective exists to be an anchor, an abode to us women who are in need of a space of our own to generate, reflect, and share in community.
